This paper deals with the analysis of intra-urban migration processes in Jihlava with the utilization of the geoinformatic information systems and the data from the evidence of population. Possibilities of the utilisation of this unique source of data in specific examples and in different spatial levels are described there. The aim of this paper is to introduce possible procedures of data processing, application of chosen spatial analyses and to visualize analysed migration processes. There is a significant emphasis placed on unique study of intra-urban migration in Jihlava which shows details of possible analysis of the migration behaviour of Jihlava residents. Analyses of migration movements in Jihlava with regard to a modern trend of migration to municipal office address are introduced; we have attempted to find out who specifically is "moving" there. The migration was also studied in terms of marital status or age. We have introduced migration micro study of the biggest housing estate in Jihlava and so called "migration record breakers" have been introduced.
