The article deals with the possibilities of using statistical methods in the evaluation of data from the geotourism regions. In current practice, it appears that most of the information output is obtained by applying only the basic statistical characteristics. The geotourism is an area providing mainly stochastic data. However, thus obtained information outputs are often not only distorted, but even erroneous. In the article, authors deal with the application of research methods and confirmatory analysis of geo-data, correlation analysis, and some multivariate statistical procedures. On specific geotourist localities they show the differences between traditional assessment methods and results of modern methods of statistical analysis. The article complements the outputs of numeric character also by examples of geoscientific data visualization. The study results are applicable to a wide range of information purposes in the field of geotourism.
