Hydrogen effect on structure and mechanical features of NiTi-Me alloys
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The hydrogen effect on mechanical and structural properties of NiTi-based alloys (binary Ni-49.4 at.% Ti and ternary Ni-50 at.% Ti-10% at.% Cu alloys) were studied. Metallographic study, tensile tests, measurement of transformation temperatures by resistometric method and study of fracture surfaces by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were performed on the rotary forged wires with diameters of 2.6 and 2.3 mm in as-forged or heat treated states. Thermal treatment of prepared samples was done in two different atmospheres (in flow of hydrogen or argon gases) in high temperature furnace LINN HT1800 at 850°C for 1 hour. Content of hydrogen in alloys was not measured. The microstructure study of longitudinal and transverse cuts of etched specimens were realised before and after tensile tests. The tensile tests of wires NiTi and NiTi-Cu was done on tensile testing machine Inova TSM50 in room temperature with strain rate of 3.10-4 s-1, gauged length of samples was 50mm. Transformation tempera
