The article focuses on the improvement of the national qualifications system, which should provide a platform for the creation, transmission and dissemination of information and requirements to change the content of education according to current needs. It also deals with definition of user groups and process steps. The National Qualification System still includes, above all, craft and service qualifications. For the functioning of the entire system, it is necessary in the long term to monitor and evaluate the situation on the labor market and to summarize and process needs in different areas within the framework of cooperation involving companies, employment offices and education providers including authorized persons. The cooperation of these partners should lead to interconnection and better functioning of the system.
