Selected Aspects of Modelling in the Metallurgical Industry
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper presents the basics of the measurement system analysis (MSA), whose important task is to improve the quality of products in organizations, and its current or future use. Low data quality leads to small, respectively. benefit. Conversely, high quality data can be of great benefit to the overall process or final customer. In order to ensure sufficient benefit from the use of the measured data, and thus reduce the cost of obtaining the measured data, it is necessary to focus on the quality of the data. The quality of the measured data can be evaluated on the basis of multiple measurements obtained from measurement systems operating under stable conditions. One of the most common reasons for low-quality data is their too large variability. Therefore, the purpose of MSA is to determine the extent of observed variability caused by the measurement system and to identify sources of variability in this system.
