Nowadays, the businesses have to face rapidly changing environment. There is a need to take decisions without complete information. In parallel, processional approach became very modern way for managing organisations. In order to sustain the competitiveadvantages companies need to use tools for modelling and simulations as the way of how to deal with the uncertainties coming from the environment. Process modelling is getting to be in vogue. Statistics brings many tools, methods, and techniques for analysts to make backgrounds for appropriate decisions. This article deals with the main method of models composing - the simple linear regression method - and the need for graphical visualisation. All theoretical parts are practically represented by examplewith analysis.
