The article analyses the option of improving the information of SMEs on their partners by way of a Customer Intelligence type analytic add-on over the CRM solution, thus increasing their competitiveness. The article offers an overview of both the onlineprocessing options on the resources available in the Internet and the options for offline processing of data from other processed offline. furthermore, the article offers a concept of data selection ontology, including subsequent definition and storage of meta-data required for routine processing of business requirements. In the end, the authors assess the availability of such solutions for current SMEs, both from the technological and financial aspect.
