Efficiency measurement is still underestimated on the one hand. On the other hand, it is increasingly used by companies. These companies aim either to enforce or to maintain their position in the market, so it is necessary for them to understand the environment and to comprehend their own opportunities and position in the market. The main goal of this article is to investigate the measurement process of company efficiency by using data envelopment analysis methods ? classical DEA methods and imprecise DEA methods. Taking into consideration the given scope and complexity of the whole process, all the DEA methods are applied in processing the so-called project template. The project template should offer managers help in defining and developing the efficiency measurement of their company. The project template shows each individual step of the measurement. All these steps lead to specific activities to ensure the accuracy of the method?s application.
