Part-time contracts - the Way out of the Crisis?
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper focus on the relation between a part-time work and (un)enmployment level. The aim of the paper is twofold: (i) to analyse the part-time work during the economic crisis in EU, (ii) analyse the relation between part- and full-time works. To reachthis aim the comparative method is used, this is supplemented by a correlation analysis which is applied to the second part of the aim. To provide comprehensive analysis the relation between part-time work and unemployment is studied as well. The results show that the share of part-timer was slightly increasing in EU within the 2007-2013 period. Its distribution between age, sex and obtained education level is not even. Part-time work is the most commonly used in Netherland (about 50% of employees) followed by Germany, Austria, Sweden and UK. The results of the correlation analysis suggest that there is positive, statistically significant relation between part-time work and unemployment in the case of 15 countries, in the case of Germa
