The current business environment is characterized by high competitive pressure, and also to deepen our own R & D activities. And provides space for two types of strategies: the strategy of red oceans and blue oceans strategies. Blue ocean strategy focuses on the creation of value innovation, because their realization excludes competitors from the game. Tool for predicting future developments, as well as to support innovation activities is also technology foresight. Foresight is often characterized as a systematic process, trying to look into the longer-term future of science, technology, economy and society in order to identify areas of strategic research and the emerging generic technologies. The aim of this paper is the definition of key techniques for the identification of blue oceans in terms of finding new markets, with a focus on technology trends, including multidisciplinary dimension.
