Evaluation of the indicators and variables used to measure the effectiveness of processes within an organization
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In a well-managed enterprise, emphasis is placed on the customer. The quality of the product offered to the customer and company behaviour is determined by market requirements. Most of today's businesses seek to achieve a sufficiently flexible organization that is able to adapt quickly to changing ambient conditions. Process management is now a necessary and important aspect of maintaining the competitiveness of any organization. The aim of this paper is the identification, characterization and evaluation of the process indicators (metrics) that measure the efficiency of business processes. To this end we have used Cobit5, a very popular methodology. The results shown were defined and evaluated by indicators which are commonly used in the context of a three-imperative project management. These indicators are time, costs and quality of output. The results also highlighted the main problematic areas within the innovation processes, areas which were poorly defined and redundant.
