Assessment of management quality of occupational health and safety as a result of the multi-criteria task
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In the process aiming to raise safety standards of the occupational health and safety, a progressively higher importance is being attached to the actions which are supposed to develop awareness and co-responsibility for OHS issues. The implementation of the above objectives can be effected by such tools as for example the audit of the management system of the occupational health and safety. It enables not only to assess the quality of the undertaken actions in the realm of OHS, but also, through direct participation in the audit, it can become a tool activating the workers (worker participation). The paper presents the results of the departmental audit carried out with the application of the MERIT survey (Management Evaluation Regarding Itemized Tendencies). The calculated values of WOPi indexes were interpreted as the final results (solutions) of single-criterion tasks and, at the same time, as partial assessments in the solving process of the multi-criteria task. Basing on the multi-criteria discrete method Promethee II, the values of net flows Ф(x) were determined, which, in turn, allowed us to determine the aggregate assessment of the quality of the steps undertaken in the field of OHS management for each of the evaluated objects (departments of the coal mine).
