In this article is presented a part of combustion tests performed at the VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava in 2007. The combustion tests were performed in the test room of Energy Research Center. In different weight ratios, pellets from brown coal andwooden chips were madče for combustion tests. While the combustion tests were running, the emissions from flue gases were continually monitored (mainly CO, NOx, SO2) and the O2 volume in flue gases.
