Surface science behind CuO catalytic efficiency
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Poster-Ammonia, NH3, is one of the air pollutants that's' release is strictly monitored due to its high impact onto both, human's health and environment. Modern catalysis gives the opportunity to reduce the ammonia release by the application of the selective catalytic oxidation process (NH3-SCO). This topic was the main theme of our previous research. We studied the relation between physico-chemical properties of copper oxide species and its efficiency as catalysts of NH3-SCO. We put the special effort to study aspects like copper accessibility on surface, its dispersion, reducibility or interaction with the Ce as surface dopant.
