The bibliographic essay presents Czech-Argentinean encounters in the area of linguistic and literary studies from the Czech perspective. It covers three areas: Czech contributions to the study of Amerindian languages in Argentina and to the knowledge ofArgentinean Spanish in Czechia. The second part presents the history of translations of Argentinean literature into Czech language. The third part gives an overview of literary studies on Argentinean literature published in Czechia.
