Der Artikel wird auf die spätgotische und Frührenaissance Bauplsatik in der Region von Thayatal an der Grenze zwischen Südmähren und nördlichem Niderösterreich konzentriert. Das Hauptziel des Artikels ist zu bestimmen, welche Stil - Kreise im Thayatal dominiert haben. Aufgrund der stilistischen Analyse wurde festgestellt, dass im Thayatal hauptsächlich diese Gruppe der Steinmetze tätig waren: Steinmetze aus der Wiener Bauhütte, Eggenburger Steinmetzunft, asu Mähren, Krems an der Donau und Leopold Estreicher mit seiner Werkstatt.

The article is focused on late Gothic and Early Renaissance architectural sculpture in the region of the river Thaya on the boundary between northen Lower Austria and southern Moravia. On the basis of stylstic analysis were the main stylistic circles inMoravian - Austrian Valley of the river Thaya/Thayatal determined: the most important architectural sculpture was executed from stonemsaons from Vienna cathedral lodge, guild in Eggenburg, Moravia, Krems an der Donau and Lopole Streicher with ist workshop.
