L'article met en lumi?re quelques métaphores issues du langage de la religion catholique, réperées dans les textes non artistiques du corpus parall?le informatisé InterCorp. Apr?s les points de départ théoriques concernant les métaphores et la méthodologie, ce sont quelques métaphores lexicalisées et des métaphores non lexicalisées réperées dans le corpus, leur motivation sémantique et leurs équivalents dans les textes tch?ques qui sont décrites. L'article est de m?me orienté vers la problématique de latraduction de ces métaphores. Ce sont la motivation sémantique de la métaphore dans les deux langues et l'érudition des lecteurs du texte cible qui sont soulignés.

This article takes note of several metaphors from the language of Catholic Church, found in the non-artistic texts of the parallel computer corpus InterCorp. Following the description of theoretical starting points concerning metaphors and methodology, the article describes some lexicalised and non-lexicalised metaphors found in the corpus, their semantic motivation and their equivalents in Czech texts. This article is also focused on the problems concerning the translation of these metaphors. The semantic motivation of metaphors in French and Czech and a supposition of some level of the erudition of the target text reader are accentuated.
