Normalerweise wird angenommen, dass die "(historische) Avantgarde" ein Phänomen des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts war. Wenn es aber darum geht, wie die als "(historische) Avantgarde" bekannte Konfiguration sich als historische Tatsache namens "(historische) Avantgarde" konstituiert hat, ist dieser Konstituierungsprozess nicht im frühen 20. Jahrhundert (oder schon im späten 19. Jahrhundert) zu suchen, sondern in der Zeit nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg.

It is assumed normally that the "(historical) avant-garde" was a phenomenon of the early 20th century. However, if one focuses on the constitution of the configuration known as "(historical) avant-garde" as historical fact called "(historical) avant-garde", the constitution process is not allocated in the early 20th century (or already in the late 19th century), but in the period after the Second World War.
