Fernando Gualtieri, Juan Palazzo, Gustavo Riccio, Roberto Mariani y José Portogalo son los nombres de cinco autores ítalo-argentinos olvidados de un lado y otro del Atlántico. Nacidas en el arrabal de Buenos Aires, sus escrituras representan algunos de los más originales rastros literarios de la inmigración italiana en la Argentina de entresiglos. A partir de sus textos, este libro persigue reintegrar a sus autores dentro del mapa histórico-cultural de la época y reflexionar en torno al hecho literario como medio de arraigo para los recién llegados.

Fernando Gualtieri, Juan Palazzo, Gustavo Riccio, Roberto Mariani and José Portogalo are the names of five forgotten Italian-Argentinean authors from both sides of the Atlantic. Born in the suburb of Buenos Aires, his writings represent some of the most original literary traces of the Italian immigration in Argentina of entresiglos. From its texts, this book seeks to reintegrate its authors into the historical-cultural map of the time and reflect on the literary fact as a means of support for newcomers.
