Gegenstand des vorliegenden Beitrags sind phraseologische Bezeichnungen von emblematischen Gesten, die als Kernbereich der Kinegramme anzusehen sind. Es wird gefragt, inwieweit die bestehenden Gestenlexika und die Analysekategorien der neueren Gestenforschung bei der Untersuchung von Kinegrammen hilfreich sein können. Im Vordergrund stehen das Verhältnis von Gestenvarianten zu Phrasemvarianten sowie das phraseologische Bild der systematischen Mehrdeutigkeit von verhaltensbezogenen Gesten.

The present article deals with phraseological terms of emblematic gestures that are considered to be the core of so called kinegrams. It is asked to what extent the existing gesture lexicons and the theoretical debates in recent gesture research can be helpful in the analysis of phrasemes. The focus is on the relationship of gesture variants to phrasemic variants as well as the phraseological picture of the systematic ambiguity of some emblematic gestures.
