This workshop applied philosophical texts and cultural theory to contemporary Scottish poetry. The participants were given readings ahead of time and participated in a sophisticated discussion on the topic. This is part of our department&apos;s attempt to develop critical thinking and encourage young scholars to engage in advanced scholarship and debate.
