Das Kapitel konzentriert sich auf die Struktur und die Funktionen der routinisierten und idiomatischen Wendungen, die in Paratexten zu Übersetzungen jiddischer Literatur ins Tschechische verwendet wurden. Der zeitliche Akzent liegt dabei auf der Wende von den 1950er zu 1960er Jahren. An konkreten, in ihrem jeweiligen Kontext analysierten Wendungen und Phrasen wird der Prozess der kulturell und geschichtlich bedingten Routinisierung und Funktionalisierung solcher sprachlichen Äußerungen gezeigt und ihr Einfluss auf die Rezeption der jiddischen Literatur im Kontext der ehemaligen kommunistischen Tschechoslowakei erwogen.

The chapter focuses on the structure and function of routinized and idiomatic phrases used in paratexts accompanying translations of Yiddish literature into Czech in the 1950s and 1960s. The process of the culturally and historically conditioned routinization and functionalization of these idiomatic phrases and expressions will be shown through selected examples analyzed in their respective contexts. The chapter examines the influence of these routinized patterns on the reception of Yiddish literature in the context of former communist Czechoslovakia.
