O principal objetivo deste programa é estabelecer uma cooperação regular com as universidades parceiras mais próximas e enriquecer de forma significativa o seu programa de estudos. Este ano, 10 estudantes e professores vieram da Universidade Jaguelónica de Cracóvia e 12 da Universidade Comenius de Bratislava. Pudemos convidar professores das Universidades de Salvador da Bahia, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro e Lisboa para criar um programa muito variado de palestras, workshops, debates e conversas reais, que proporcionou a todos os participantes uma visão mais profunda da cultura, da história, da literatura e das condições sociais do Brasil, contribuindo ao mesmo tempo para uma melhor compreensão das diferenças culturais e sociais entre os dois países. As palestras e conferências do escritor brasileiro Luiz Ruffat, vencedor do Prémio Literário Jabutí, e do poeta português João Luís Barreto Guimarães, vencedor de vários prémios literários, incluindo o Prémio Pessoa, foram muito proveitosas.Ao mesmo tempo, os estudantes das três universidades reuniram-se num workshop de tradução de um dia, ministrado pela Dra. Šarka Grauova, da Universidade Charles.

The main objective of this programme is to establish regular cooperation with nearby partner universities and to significantly enrich their study programme. This year, 10 students and teachers came from Jagiellonian University in Krakow and 12 from Comenius University in Bratislava. We were able to invite lecturers from the Universities of Salvador da Bahia, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon to create a very varied programme of lectures, workshops, discussions, and real conversations, which gave all participants a deeper insight into the culture, history, literature and social conditions of Brazil, while contributing to a better understanding of the cultural and social differences between the two countries. The talks and lectures by the Brazilian writer Luiz Ruffat, winner of the Jabutí Literary Award, and the Portuguese poet João Luís Barreto Guimarães, winner of many literary awards, including the Pessoa Prize, were very useful.At the same time, students from all three universities were brought together in a day-long translation workshop by Dr. Šarka Grauova from Charles University.
