THE INTERRELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE STREAMLINING OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND THE MAINTENANCE OF THE 4P PRIORITIES IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC – FOCUSING ON THE CUSTOMS ADMINISTRATION
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The objective of this chapter is to ascertain whether the Czech Republic's customs administration has sustained its elevated standards subsequent to the substantial organisational restructuring and workforce reductions that occurred in 2025. Is asked here a question, if its able to continue operating in accordance with all the principles and requirements for its performance, and to fulfil all the 4P priorities (Purpose, Processes, Persons, Places), remains to be answered. The author's findings indicated that the priorities of Purpose and Processes are consistently adhered to in accordance with legal stipulations. The Places priority remained unaffected by the aforementioned reorganization of the Czech customs administration in 2025, as the number of locations where the customs administration in the Czech Republic is available to obligated entities did not decrease but rather increased. The sole priority that is affected by the aforementioned reorganization is that of the Persons priority. In this chapter, the author provides a detailed analysis of the impact of the reorganization on this priority. Furthermore, the author evaluates the attainment of the objectives that were established in conjunction with the aforementioned reorganisation of the customs administration.
