The paper deals with the development of e-learning at Palacký University in Olomouc - in terms of modern technology and in terms of pedagogical and didactic access. In technological point of view the paper presents a new e-learning environment within theEDIS (Education and Information System) website from the initial vision to the current state of implementation. In the pedagogical and didactic field we focus on the development of knowledge and skills of users - academic staff in the development and implementation of e-learning to support teaching.
