This paper presents the outcomes of a questionnaire survey among the graduates of the Department of English, Faculty of Education, Palacký University Olomouc. The aims of the survey were to find out if graduates become teachers of English, what type of school they teach at and if they teach other subject(s) as well. The findings will help to plan and offer new teacher-training courses and study programmes at the department.
