  • Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

The issue of education in the area of sexually reproductive health is part of the educational system in the CZE in various curricular tiers from preschool education to secondary education. The largest space is provided in the 2nd stage of elementary schools in the educational area of Health Education. The objectives of the educational field of Health Education are formulated by means of 16 expected outcomes, of which two are directly associated with education of sexually reproductive health. To ensure the minimum quality of education provided to elementary school pupils, the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic formulated the Standards for elementary education - Health Education. In 2015 the following research study was carried out: "Research of the level of curriculum adopted by basic school pupils in Health Education", which is part of the following Student grant competition project at Palacky University, Olomouc: Perception of subjective impact of health disability/presence of chronic disease and concept of health awareness and literacy (IGA_PdF_2015_003). The aim was to evaluate the level the Standards for elementary education - Health Education using an achievement test based on illustrative tasks contained in the standards. The objective of this partial study is to present the results relating to expected outcome 11 in Health Education, which relates to the issue of sexually reproductive health. An analysis of the results collected from 608 elementary school pupils in the Czech Republic suggests that in the area of expected outcome "HE-9-1-11 The pupil respects adolescence-related changes, is able to take appropriate measures; behaves in a refined way towards persons of the opposite sex," the illustrative task, which was based on the assessment of the cognitive level (decision whether statements relating to the area of sexually reproductive health are true or false), was correctly answered by approximately 7 % of elementary school pupils in grade 9.
