    Due to the rapid changes in society, it is necessary to innovate and modernize the school system of the Czech Republic. One of the key documents of educational policy includes a document called the Education Policy Strategy of the Czech Republic 2030+. The aim of the documents are two main goals, namely: &quot;To focus education more on the acquisition of competencies needed for an active civic, professional, and personal life.&quot; The second goal focuses on reducing inequality in access to quality education and enabling the maximum development of the potential of children, pupils, and students. The document also contains five strategic lines that describe innovations in education – the transformation of the content, methods, and evaluation of education, equal access to education, professional support of teaching staff, an increase of professional capacities, trust, and cooperation, and the last line specifies the issue of financing and ensuring stability.This pilot research aimed to determine how many teaching staff know the strategic educational document presented by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Czech Republic. The research was conducted online. The questionnaire contained items with the option of open and closed answers. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used for the evaluation. 224 teaching staff in three randomly selected regions of the Czech Republic took part in the survey. The research results show that 48% of respondents have already heard about the Education Policy Strategy of the Czech Republic 2030+, 9% of respondents do not know if they have heard of this document and 42% of respondents have never heard of the document.
