Single trail biking is a growing nature based tourism activity returning economic prosperity to the remote rural areas of Jesenik region whereat has been seen as a serious social and economic problem. The aim of the presented study was to provide a summary of information based on assessment of the impacts and latent conflicts of biking on the trails of the Rychlebské stezky arena above Cerna Voda, a rural village located near Jesenik, about 10 km from the Polish border. According to their statistics, the resort has already attracted over 40 thousand bikers, about one third of which are estimated to be from Poland. The findings can be beneficial for users and operators of other Czech mountain biking resorts. ature-based tourism field that is attracting.
