The paper is written based on a project of international exchange of student-written case studies realized in 2005 at three different institutions: Towson University (MD), Dominican University (IL), and Mendel University (Czech Republic). Paper describesthe way of organizing the exchange, its rules, and also its results in the form of summarization of students' opinions acquired based on the survey they completed after going through the whole project. The conclusions include lessons learned from the first year of application of the project, and plans for its future changes and application, but also conclusions concerning the firms described in the case studies (all of them being from the agricultural or food industry). The paper is a part of solutionof the research plan of FBE MUAF in Brno, No. 6215648904.
