The aim of the paper is to characterize the development of price levels in dairy commodity chain at Czech market and compare it with the development of prices at EU market and other important non-European markets with special attention to recent changesof supply and demand on the world dairy market. International market integration and globalization is in process also in the case of milk commodity, the competition on dairy market is no more considered as relevant only at regional or state level, the international trade is changing from the trade of surplus items into trade of highly processed and finalized products. It is not characterized only by the flow of trade, but also by forming of managerial and financial relations between dairy companies within regions, states and continents.
