Comparison of Perception and Application of CSR in Enterprises in Czech and Slovak Republic

The aim of paper is to compare and characterize the current situation in the perception of socially responsible business, and in the context of historical and social developments to determine the differences in the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic. The partial aim is to characterize future potential in the context of sustainable development. The methods used in the paper are primarily the description, explanation, comparison, comparative analysis, synthesis, deduction and evaluation. For the CSR comparative analyses of Czech and Slovak Republics situation, the secondary data were chosen. For Czech Republic were compiled data from the research "Factors influencing the implementation of the CSR concept in the CR", the data for Slovak Republic CSR situation were carried from the research KEGA No. 037STU-4/2012 Implementation of the subject "Sustainable corporate social responsibility" into the study programme of Industrial Management in the second degree of study at STU MTF Trnava. Both of researches were carried during the 2013 and 2014 years. Findings of comparative analyses were discussed and summarized into conclusion.
