Investigation of natural compounds is at the present time still more and more focused on their effect on human health. In this study, we are aimed at possibility of formulation of biological activity of promising cultivars of apricot (Prunus armeniaca L.) cultivated at experimental workplace department of Fruit growing of Mendel University in Lednice with a view to resistance against plum pox potyvirus (PPV). In addition, the best nutrition aspects (content of total polyphenols, level of antioxidant capacity) are searched. Proven biological effect of molecules with searched characteristics can regulate plat breeding as well as cultivation. This task was focused on monitoring the content of phenol compounds by using multiinstrumental approach. We were validating HPLC technique with electrochemical and spectrophotometrical detector in tandem for phenolic profile determination in twenty apricot hybrids.
