Analysis of performance of horses in the Czech Republic based on dressage competitions
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In this work we tested statistical evaluation of the effect of the age, breed, sex, colour and year of start on dressage performance of the horses. Data were taken from the Survey of Sport Horses of 2010 and 2016 that are issued by the Czech Equestrian Federation. Evaluation of the sport performance was based on the auxiliary points (AAP). The age, breed and sex had a statistically highly significant effect on performance. The best results were achieved by horses from 13 to 16 years of age (3.33 AAP). The breed KWPN (Royal Dutch Sport Horse) with 4.84 AAP had statistically highly significant highest dressage performance. Groups of stallions had statistically highly significant highest dressage performance with 3.44 AAP. In conclusion dressage performance in the Czech Republic is stable and did not rapidly changed from 2010 to 2016.
