This study examines the innovation projects of companies supported by Operational programme Entrepreneurship and Innovations in the Czech Republic. It focuses on the innovation areas of innovation projects of companies and enterprisers as beneficiaries of the Operational programmes in current and programme period 2007-2013 in the Czech Republic. Operational programmes are the development instruments in the decision-making sphere of the Czech Regions in this time period. This study uses data from the database of Centre of Regional Development in the Czech Republic. Data set is based on selection of realised innovation projects of beneficiaries from year 2010. Analyses pointed at rather complex findings and overall complexity of the analysed issue. Findings emphasize the differencies of the innovation areas and innovation potential of beneficiaries. Findings from this study have implications for innovation policy practice and particularly for the companies.
