The Role of Management Leader Based on Idealistic and Realistic Philosophy
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper refers about the analysis of European philosophy in the period from antiquity to the Renaissance determined the basic discourse of so-called political philosophy. The authors researched the concept of leader in the works of Plato, Aristotle and Machiavelli. The ideas of these philosophers in pre-modern times until the 17th century were a fundamental paradigm for leadership perception. The authors of the paper point to the fact that the concept of classical leadership is related to the overall philosophy of the theory of society. Due to the fact that psychology and even more political psychology, as new social sciences from the work of these philosophers, are always partly based, it is possible, based on the study of the aforementioned philosophical writings, to at least partly answer the question: What should the leader be? Philosophy, in its classical form, also included issues that today address psychology, management, or ethics. The authors therefore point to the complexity of the leadership approach, and in the conclusion of the paper they show specific recommendations of classical philosophers.
