Application of soil analyses, repeated after 60 years, for acidification modeling using MAGIC model.
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The aim of this paper is to show outcomes of modeling an acidification process via the medium-complex MAGIC (Model of Acidification of Groundwater in Catchments). The experiment has been working with permanent study plots situated in Biospheric Reserve East Carpathians, near the Poland-Slovakia-Ukraine boundary. The set of permanent plots was laid down in the late 1930s, when the territory represented the easternmost part of the pre-war Czechoslovakia. The plots were geodetically sighted with a high preciseness. Detailed maps were drawn, which enabled the recent re-identification of the plots. According to the original methodology, phytosociological, dendrometrical and pedological records were repeated. Repeated investigations have begun in the late 1990s, when some of the plots were re-surveyed. The presented results are based on data coming from plots 6 and 7, where soil analyses of five soil pits were repeated. It produced 25 soil samples in total. It was possible to localize the or
