Acidifcation dynamics of forest soils in Ukraine Carpathians after 60 years and reaction of plant communities.
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The aim of this paper is to (1) show changes in soil parameters, particularly in sorption complex and soil reaction after the last 60 years, (2) explain how the phytocoenoses responded to soil changes. The experiment has been working with permanent studyplots situated in Pop Ivan Maramureszky Biospheric Reserve (East Carpathians), near the Ukraine-Rumania boundary. The set of permanent plots was laid down in the late 1930s, when the territory represented the easternmost part of the pre-war Czechoslovakia. The plots were geodetically sighted with a high preciseness. Detailed maps were drawn, which enabled the recent re-identification of the plots. According to the original methodology, phytosociological, dendrometrical and pedological records were repeated. Repeated investigations have begun in the late 1990s, when some of the plots were re-surveyed. The presented results are based on data coming from the plot 11, which is the largest one (surface of 6 ha, A-F subunits), and also the m
