This article deals with the problematic of the practisation of -green works- in vineyards. It presents the basic principles of constructional designs of machines and their operational members. Trimming the green twigs in a vineyard were carrid out with the tractor Z 5213 and the facing knife trimmer ERO. Time survey was measured in the course of that work and an economical evaluation was worked out from the obtained values of performance and consumpion of fuels. On the base of that work, it is possibleto estimate the costs trimming the green twigs in vineyards in each individual farmers.
