The objectiv of this experiment was to determine the concentrations of total carnitine and serum activity of LDH and isoenzymes LDH of daqiry cows after the parturition. These issues suggest, that, in dairy cows exposed to high fat diet and implied fattyliver, the serum concentration of total L-carnitine decreases at 4th week after parturition. On the other hand, activity of LDH isoenzymes, especially liver isoenzymes LDH4 and LDH5, are not elevated in cows exposed to high fat diet.
