Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Radiography is one of the most common imaging modality used in veterinary clinical practice and has an important role in the diagnosis of rabbit diseases. In is non-invasive and provides the clinician with a large amount of information. Thorough clinicalexamination should precede radiography. Proper patient positioning is crucial to achieving images of diagnostic quality. Knowledge of thoracic and abdominal anatomy1 is mandatory when interpreting the radiograph and finding out, what pathology is and what is not. In the authors practice, the rabbit abdominal and thoracic radiographs are performed on daily basis. Owing to the high incidence of gastrointestinal and urogenital diseases, radiography is an important part of the initial diagnostic plan for any rabbit presented with apathy and anorexia. In case of gastric dilatation, serial radiographs are critical for monitoring response to the therapy. Excretory urography is the most commonly performed radiographic contrast study in rabbits
