Minor mycotoxins as contaminants of dairy diets: Occurence in the feedstuffs and assesment of daily exposure under on-farm conditions
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The aim of the study was to calculate the daily exposure of dairy cows to minor mycotoxins beauvericin (BEA) and enniatins (ENNs) A, A1, B and B1 based on their occurrence in feedstuffs under on-farm conditions. The experiment was carried out on private farm on 10 mid-lactating Czech Fleckvieh x Holstein cows. The trial lasted 14 d and consisted of an 11-d adaptation period followed by a 3-d collecting period. Cows were fed individually twice daily the diet based on maize silage (22 kg), lucerne haylage (5 kg), meadow hay (3 kg) and a supplemental mixture (8 kg, all on as fed basis). During the collecting period individual feed intake and milk yields were recorded and samples of feedstuffs and milk were taken. Samples were analysed on the basic components and feedstuffs samples were also analysed on the content of beauvericin and enniatins A, A1, B and B1. The highest concentration of BEA was found in maize silage (437 ?g/kg) while ENNs were found mainly in hay (110 ?g/kg of ENN B, 81 ?g/kg of ENN B1 and 50 ?g/kg of ENN A). Daily intake of BEA and ENNs was 3656.5 and 2064.5 ?g/d, respectively resulting in daily exposure of 6.1 ?g of BEA and 3.4 ?g of ENNs per kg of body weight.
