Folk traditions have an impact on behaviour in all fields of human life. Folk behaviour is built on national habits, traditional performance, and also on traditional cuisine. This chapter describes typical products from the Czech Republic, which are also typical for the Małopolska region, it shows the national habits and traditions. As a part of cultural exchange between the regions, there are traditional cuisine and traditional products of each ethnographic region described. The main topics, such as traditional bakery products, processed vegetables, beverages, as well as honey and beekeeping are presented. These products are mentioned with view of cultural habits as a part of people?s life in the past. This chapter provides information on how the habits related to the production of traditional foods are transferred from the past to the present and remain an important cultural heritage of our nations.
