The latest neologisms and their reflexion in dictionaries
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The research paper deals with the latest dictionary updates in two English dictionaries, focusing namely on compounds. It analyses compounds from the point of view of the word classes of their component parts and relationship between their roots. Further the examined words were classified according to the semantic fields to which they belonged. Finally, the analysis concentrated on stylistic value of compounds and the way stylistic value is described in dictionaries.
