We describe the exploitation of Internet from the point of view of students recruitment as well as major changes in university everyday life caused by adoption of ICT at the Faculty of Informatics and Management, University of Hradec Králové. In order toassess the impact of our activities in this particular field we repeatedly conducted a survey amongst our newly enrolled students and its results are presented and discussed here.
