The presented paper focuses on business setting and context in which intercultural communication occurs frequently and can cause interaction problems. Intercultural communication courses in our universities enable us to create basis for effective communication patterns which we can then apply intuitively in a given business context. I claim that to be a competent intercultural communicator in global business context is the most important objective of these university courses and therefore we should focus on their proper structure, aims and their position in university curricula.
