Inter-Municipal Disparities in the Hradec Kralove Region of the Czech Republic

Municipal and regional budgets are decisive factors for fulfilling all tasks of municipal and regional managements and for sustainable development of municipalities. We have studied the range of disparities in economy and finances per hectare of the cadastral area of the municipalities in the Hradec Kralove NUTS III Region in span of time 2001-2009. The total incomes per hectare in the region ranged from 9,455 to 4.229,532 CZK , median was at 51,697 CZK. The assets per hectare (at Jan 1st 2009) ranged from 6,571 CZK to 1.271,964 CZK, median value was 49,096 CZK. Bigger municipalities (towns) reached higher values of the total incomes per hectare of the cadastral area than smaller ones. Disparities among the municipalities and towns related per hectareof the cadastral area were significantly higher than those per capita we had found earlier. The inter-municipal disparities are often met in the same micro-region, i.e. in the same outer economic, political, social, etc. environment.
