Economic Inter-Municipal Disparities in the Hradec Kralove Region of the Czech Republic

Municipal budgets are very important factors for the quality of fulfillment of obligatory and facultative tasks of municipality councils and managers to retain sustainable development of municipalities. In this work we have studied the range of disparities in economy and finances per hectare of the cadastral area per capita of the municipalities in the Hradec Kralove NUTS III Region in span of time 2001-2009. The total incomes per hectare and capita in the Hradec Kralove NUTS III Region ranged from 17 to 2532 CZK , median was 158 CZK. The assets per hectare per capita (at Jan 1st 2009) ranged from 11 CZK to 2276 CZK, median value was 133 CZK. Disparities among the municipalities and towns related per hectare of the cadastral area per capita were significantly higher than those per capita, but of the same range as those per hectare of the cadastral area, respectively, we had found earlier.
