  • Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

The objective of this paper is to present the results of the research which was carried out in 2018/19 and is focused on the individual stages of identity crisis in the current Generation Z. This Generation Z consists of people born from 1985 to the present. Compared to other generations, this is most influenced by the IT environment. The methodology of the research was an online questionnaire survey based on own web application. The total of 232 respondents, both men and women, aged 18-26 participated in it. They either study at secondary school or university or they already have a job. The statistical data analysis showed that 47% of respondents are in the stage of achieved or adopted identity and 53% of respondents find themselves in the stage of diffuse identity and moratorium. The research results confirmed that with the increasing age the proportion of respondents with achieved identity is rising, with only 7.7% of young people having achieved identity at the age of 18, however, at the age of 26 it is almost half of the total number of respondents. On the other hand, the percentage of respondents with diffuse identity is decreasing with age, at the age of 26 only 6.3% of young people addressed are in this form of identity. Of the total sample of respondents, one third of employees show a degree of achieved identity, compared to approximately 7.1% of secondary school students. Within the survey an online application was developed enabling to create an extensive database of respondents from various social backgrounds and to keep a record of individual data more easily.
