The publication deals with the influence of the women's movement in the Czech lands, with an emphasis on the fight for women's political rights. It monitors the strategies used by women in this fight, especially in the case of electoral law. It also focuses on the influence of women in political parties and in the parliament in 1918-1939 and on the status of women's rights after enacting the electoral law for all citizens: men and women (1920).
